Teamwork Foundations, our most popular training series, is a fast paced, fun, and challenging training series that improves five critical core competencies for team success:
- Shared Vision and Values
- Defining, Reaching and Exceeding Goals/ Effective Problem Solving.
- Communicating Effectively
- Demonstrating High levels of Trust
- Synergy, Interdependence, Recognition and Celebration
Each session covers a core ingredient in the recipe for creating highly successful teams. The training is both pragmatic and highly experiential. We combine challenging initiatives, audiovisual programming and facilitated discussions to capitalize on the learning experience.
Team members can immediately apply what they are learning to “real life” so they can enhance your team’s dynamic as they progress through the series. What makes the learning so effective is the emphasis on active engagement.
It is also part of an effective employee engagement strategy. Unfortunately, in today’s work environment, only 25% of employees are actively engaged while 75% are disengaged. Explore some other surprising statistics. This series will actively engage your team!

In the Peanuts comics by Charles Schultz, Lucy asks Charlie Brown to trust her as she holds the football. Even though she pulls away the football at the last moment, he always ends up flat on his back – again and again and again. Trust and vulnerability go hand in hand. While we would like to extend trust in our relationships, none of us want to end up flat on our backs.
In this session, your team will explore the principals and practices that promote “smart trust” among their teammates. Like all of our training, it will be highly experiential
We will cover:
- How low or high trust levels affects your team’s success.
- The relationship between character and competence as trust components.
- The role of “conflict” (deeper level of honesty) as a positive indication of trust.
- The relationship between trust and vulnerability.
What to expect:
Team members will gain an understanding of “smart trust” and how character and competence and important factors in creating trusting relationships. “We have been fortunate to have Dov facilitate team building activities for our staff twice over the last year and a half in order to strengthen our team. We have enjoyed his genuine and creative approach to team building. He has the ability to bring people together in a way that highlights what is going well among the team and also focuses on the strengths and value of each individual team member. Areas for growth are addressed in way that brings the issue back to the team as a whole with a focus on positive solutions. Dov facilitates creative activities that aren’t your typical team building exercises and provides opportunity for engaging, thought-provoking discussions that help to move the team to the next level. We highly recommend other groups to participate in this type of program if their goal is to strengthen their team and they want to engage in a fun, interactive and meaningful experience.”
